“HELL'S KITCHEN”
Season 19 Treatment Deck | FOX
Nineteen seasons in, the show didn't need an introduction. The deck needed to make it feel new.
HELL'S KITCHEN came to us the way franchise work usually does. The client had Season 19 already planned and written — the show's first move to Las Vegas — and needed a treatment deck that could carry a franchise this established into new territory without breaking what makes it Hell's Kitchen. Our work was the design: a 29-page treatment built on the brand's black-and-gold identity, opened by a cover that does almost nothing — the trident mark in gold on black — because the mark alone is the introduction. Inside, the system leans cinematic: full-bleed imagery, Gordon Ramsay front and center where he belongs, bold condensed type, and layouts paced so an executive flipping fast still feels the glossier, higher-stakes Vegas energy on every page. The deck went through the usual rounds of refinement with the client, each pass a negotiation between protecting a brand nobody should mess with and making the season feel like a relaunch.
That's what a treatment deck does for a franchise at this level: it gives the network and the production one shared picture of the season before a single frame is shot. Season 19 aired on FOX in 2021.
